In the video Euro Plumbing are proving an extensive drainage solution for a 60 year old home that has been affected by basement flooding for the last 20 years.

The space below ground has been renovated to accommodate a tenant, yet cannot be utilised due to the affects flooding causes. This includes:

• Damage to timber-frame and Gib
• Growing Mould
• Damage to furniture and carpets

Works included an engineered design to replace piling as the excavation went along the exterior which extended over 30 meters at a depth of 1.5 meters. Of course Health and Safety played a very big role to enable the drainlayers a safe working environment. Works in also included rearranging of existing sewer and storm water pipework, ensuring compliance on existing drainage systems such integration of a catchpit to accommodate exiting driveway channel, relocation of gas pipes and decommissioning of older garden drainage.
