Guaranteed service
Master Plumbers, Gasfitters & Drainlayers NZ provides residential customers with a 12-month guarantee to protect from loss of an advance payment in the event of the contractor’s liquidation or bankruptcy. The Master Plumbers Guarantee also protects you from substandard workmanship by a current Master Plumbers member.
In addition, we provide a complaints service in the unlikely event that you have workmanship issues with your Master Plumber, Gasfitter or Drainlayer.
Authorised to work
All member companies employ Certifying Plumbers, Gasfitters and/or Drainlayers, who are responsible for ensuring that their own work, and the work of those they supervise, is done correctly.
All those involved in plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying must carry a current authorisation card,
which is issued annually. This provides assurance that your work is carried out legally. How can you be sure your Master Plumber is authorised? Ask to see their card!
Professionally trained
To renew their annual practising licence with the regulatory Board, registered plumbers, gasfitters and drainlayers must obtain Continuing Professional Development points through training courses and self-directed learning. At Master Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers NZ, we deliver industry training to help our members maintain their knowledge and skills.
